Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

We Are Pleased to Announce This Month’s Service Event, The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank!

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s mission is to distribute food and other essentials to children, seniors, families and other individuals in need.

Mavin Learning Volunteers will be helping to  assemble food packages full of nutritious food for over 25,000 women with infants, children, and seniors in Los Angeles County. The food packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items.

WHO: Students, 14 years old & above

WHAT: Volunteers will help sort, inspect, and repackage donated food items from local food drives. Help us help those in need by donating your time to fight hunger in our community.

WHEN: July 22nd, 8am – 12pm

WHERE: 1734 E. 41st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90058

WHAT TO BRING: Water, Snacks, Tennis Shoes, NO SANDALS
